Founding Director Program Details
The founding director program is Taikai App's thank-you to the directors who run tournaments on the platform while it's still in beta: the first 50 directors to purchase credits during beta get 20% off standard pricing, permanently.
How to qualify
There is no application, no form, and no code to enter. Qualification is automatic:
-
1Sign up during beta Create your director account while the platform carries the BETA badge.
-
2Purchase any credit pack Your first completed purchase is what counts — the pack size doesn't matter.
-
3Be among the first 50 If your purchase is one of the first 50, you're a founding director. That's the whole process.
What you get
- 20% off standard pricing, forever — the headline benefit, applied once beta ends (see below).
- A direct line to the founder — feature requests and bug reports from founding directors go straight to the person building the product.
- White-glove setup support — hands-on help configuring your first tournament.
- Priority on the feature queue — what founding directors need gets built first.
After beta ends
During beta itself, everyone pays the same discounted beta rates — founding directors included. The 20% benefit activates when beta ends and standard pricing takes over: new directors pay full price, founding directors pay 20% less.
The discount tracks future pricing. It's 20% off whatever standard pricing is at the time of purchase — if standard rates change years from now, founding directors continue to pay 20% below the new rates. It never expires and never needs renewing.
Common questions
- Does a bigger first purchase improve my odds? No — any completed purchase counts equally. Order of purchase is all that matters.
- Do I pay less during beta as a founding director? No. Beta rates already apply to everyone; the founding benefit is about what happens after.
- Is the discount transferable? It's attached to your director account, and applies to all tournaments you run from it.
- How do I know if spots remain? Check the Pricing page, or just ask — during beta the founder answers directly.
